Lonestar’s management team has more than 100 years’ experience.

Larry G. Peyton – CEO

    Larry Peyton has more than four decades of experience in chemical manufacturing and environmental services. He was Vice President of Rollins Environmental, President of Rollins Environmental Site Services, President of Rollins Environmental CHEMPAK, Vice President of Operations for Southdown Environmental Services, and Regional Marketing and Services Manager for OHM Remediation Services. Prior to his work in the environmental industry, he served as Vice President of Formosa Plastics Corporation, Production Superintendent of Stauffer Chemical, Production Supervisor for Rhodia Chemical and Senior Distribution Engineer for Union Carbide. He has held foreign assignments in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, France, and Venezuela.

    In 1986 Larry successfully returned a Delaware City petrochemical facility to full operation which, in a landmark case, previously had its operating permits revoked. He was subsequently recognized by the state’s Governor for outstanding environmental achievement and was elected President of the Delaware Chemical Council. He was instrumental in developing the precursor to the OSHA employee workplace safety standards and risk standards used currently by the EPA. Larry holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky.

William H. Wilson – President

    Will Wilson has been involved in the creation, capitalization and management of several businesses in the environmental services, energy, produce, and manufacturing fields. From 1992 to 1999, he was principal founder and CEO of American WasteWater, a Houston-based liquid waste treatment company. He negotiated the merger of the company into US Liquids and helped coordinate its subsequent initial public offering. He serves on the board of the Memorial Villages Water Authority and as Chairman of the Trustees of the Cavanal-Hill Mutual Funds, a multi-billion dollar mutual fund.

    Will holds a B.S. degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant, an instrumented-rated private pilot, and fluent in Spanish.

Walt Stringer – Facility Manager

    Walt Stringer began his career as a site service chemist for Laidlaw Environmental Services in Chattanooga. Later he served as Operations Manager for Laidlaw’s La Porte and San Antonio facilities. He expanded into sales and marketing as Facility Sales Manager for Safety-Kleen (formerly Laidlaw) and Account Manager at Veolia Environmental Services. His 22 years of experience in the environmental services business gives him a broad perspective in all phases of facility operations, personnel development and management, material management, customer service and sales and marketing. Walt holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from Western Carolina University.

Gregory Tatosian – Chief Chemist

    Greg Tatosian is an environmental professional with a background in solid waste and air emission project management. Before joining Lonestar, he worked as a consultant, managing waste cleanup efforts including regulatory compliance, tank cleaning, recycling, and outside disposal procedures. Previously, he served as senior environmental chemist at Merisol USA and before that as environmental chemist at Merichem Company. Greg has managed environmental projects for Pelican Waste Services, Inc. and Chemical Waste Services. He holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University Of Houston Clear Lake.

Joel Hartley - Operations Specialist

    Joel Hartley’s in-depth background in field chemistry, logistics, DOT, EPA regulations and sales spans two decades and was instrumental in the development of Lonestar’s proprietary waste tracking and management system. This sophisticated software package serves as an integrated information tool that improves customer service, data tracking and retrieval, and cost controls.

    Prior to joining the Lonestar team, Joel founded and operated his own small business and served as a field chemist and manager at several companies in the environmental industry. He holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from Michigan Tech University where he also played football.

Sales & Customer Service

Dean Lewis – Vice President of Sales

    Dean Lewis may be the best known sales professional in the Gulf Coast region. For over 30 years he has been developing his skills in customer relations, sales techniques and taking care of customer needs. His education and domestic and foreign work experience makes him an outstanding teacher and mentor. He most recently was employed by Newpark Environmental. Other assignments included Baker Tanks, Champion Chemicals and Rollins Environmental Services where he was salesman of the year. We are extremely fortunate to have Dean leading our sales team.

Mike Young – Senior Account Manager

    Mike is a master of salesmanship. After graduating from LSU he started working with Safety-Kleen where he was involved in almost every level of responsibility at their Plano, TX facility. He was instrumental in increasing the location revenues to over $17 million annually. Mike has added his talent to Heritage-Crystal Clean, Rinco and FCC Environmental. At every assignment he has excelled including holding a position as President of Poly-Deck Systems, Inc. Mike sets the performance standard for customer care and service development. He is out most productive Account Manager.

Demita Dozier – Accounts Manager

    Demita is a true customer service professional. Her BS in Chemistry started a career as a field chemist with Chemical Waste Management in Lake Charles, LA. From there she moved to Browning-Ferris as a Customer Technical Representative and later as a Waste Disposal Coordinator. That job transisitioned into an assignment with Waste Management. She served five years as Customer Service Manager before being promoted to Oil Field Program Manager. This wealth of experience in serving customer needs has been put to use as an Account Manager for Lonestar.

Deborah Forward – Accounts Manager

    Deborah graduated with honors in Biological Sciences from LSU in the spring of 2010. She worked as an Account Manager for SWS Environmental Services and Lonestar Extremities before bringing her talent to Lonestar Ecology. She is a major LSU and New Orleans Saints supporter. Deborah is personality plus and puts her people skills to good use to understand and develop programs for Lonestar customers.
